Bauckhage has special double lift springs in its range for heavy flaps with a large opening angle, which are characterised by a low initial force and a high final force. These springs have two pressure tubes that can be filled differently and are therefore able to cover two force ranges.

The functionality of double lift springs

In this position, the centre of gravity S is furthest away from the pivot point. The highest force is required to open the flap. Both strokes are retracted. Opening is performed by the cylinder with the higher force.

 

In this position, the centre of gravity S moves closer to the pivot point. Less spring force is required. Stroke 1 is extended in this position. The spring section 2 with the lower force now becomes effective.

 

In dieser Position liegt der Schwerpunkt S nahe oder direkt im Drehpunkt. Es wird eine geringe Federkraft benötigt.
